Independent Trade Intermediary — Buyers ⇄ Suppliers

Connecting buyers
and suppliers, directly.

Sahara Global Sourcing is an independent intermediary working both sides of the trade across West Africa and the Sahel — representing verified producers to international buyers, and representing manufacturers to reliable suppliers at origin. Gum arabic is our specialty; sesame, hibiscus, peanuts, cocoa, and other regional commodities round out the portfolio. We facilitate the deal; we don't take title to the product.

What we do

One intermediary, working both sides of the deal.

We represent buyers to suppliers, and suppliers to buyers — vetting, verifying, and structuring the trade so neither side has to navigate the other alone.

01

For buyers: sourcing & verification

We identify vetted producers and exporters in Sudan, Chad, and Nigeria on your behalf — bypassing unreliable third-hand intermediaries and confirming origin, harvest season, and export capacity before any quote goes out. It's slower up front, and it's why the lot you're quoted is the lot that actually ships.

02

For suppliers: market access

We represent producers and exporters to international buyers — bringing demand, fair pricing, and long-term contracts that a single producer often can't reach alone.

03

For both: grading, contracts & logistics

Every lot sampled and checked, INCOTERMS and payment terms structured, and shipments rerouted when needed — so the transaction closes cleanly on both ends.

Our portfolio

Gum arabic is our specialty. It isn't the only thing we move.

We've built the same producer relationships, grading discipline, and logistics network to work across the wider Sahel and West African commodity trade.

Origins & destinations

A core corridor in the Gum Belt — and a global network beyond it.

Sudan, Chad, and Nigeria are our deepest producer relationships, tied directly to the commodities in our portfolio. As a global sourcing company, we also draw on a wider partner network to source outside that corridor whenever a buyer needs it.

How we work

From inquiry to delivery, in five steps.

01

Inquiry & specification

Tell us the grade, volume, and application — food, beverage, pharma, or cosmetic. We confirm your specification and any certification requirements up front.

02

Sourcing & sampling

We identify verified producers who can meet the spec and volume, and send samples for your approval before any contract is signed.

03

Contract & terms

We agree pricing, INCOTERMS, and payment structure — letter of credit or otherwise — so both sides are protected before goods move.

04

Quality verification

An independent pre-shipment inspection confirms the lot matches the agreed certificate of grade before it leaves origin.

05

Shipment & delivery

We coordinate logistics and documentation — including rerouting when needed — through to port or warehouse delivery.

Why Sahara

A neutral intermediary, not a trader with its own stock to move.

We don't buy gum arabic to resell it, and we don't produce it ourselves — we represent each side to the other, which means our incentive is a deal that actually works for both of you, not a warehouse we need to clear.

Bottom line Whichever side you're on, we're working for the deal — not against you.
  • 01 Route resilienceStanding relationships in Chad and Nigeria mean a Port Sudan disruption doesn't have to stall your order.
  • 02 No minimum order wallsLarge trading houses often require volumes that shut out mid-size manufacturers. We work with the order size you actually need.
  • 03 Grading you can verifyEvery lot ships with a certificate of analysis, and we coordinate independent inspection if you want a second check.
  • 04 One relationship, not fiveWe manage the producer, the exporter, the inspector, and the freight forwarder — you deal with one point of contact.
"

Buyers don't stop trusting a broker because prices rise — they stop trusting a broker who goes quiet when supply gets hard. Sahara exists for the hard weeks, not just the easy ones.
